Tripura: Illegal Club Demolished in Tripura, Government Plans Health Center
In a decisive move against illegal constructions and anti-social activities, authorities in Tripura demolished the Bharat Ratna Sangh Club located at Usha Bazar on Wednesday morning. The club built on government land without proper authorization was razed to the ground at 7 AM under the supervision of West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar and the Superintendent of Police.
Dr. Kumar explained the action, stating, “The demolition notice was issued by the prosecution due to the club’s illegal construction on government property. We carried out the operation using bulldozers early this morning.”
The District Magistrate revealed plans for the newly cleared land, announcing, “The state government intends to establish a primary health center at this location. This facility will significantly benefit the local community and improve healthcare access in the area.”
Addressing the club’s alleged illicit activities, Dr. Kumar elaborated, “Our investigations uncovered the club’s involvement in various unlawful practices, including anti-social activities, land brokering, extortion, and illegal negotiations. The demolition order was a result of these findings.”
The operation sends a clear message to those engaged in unlawful activities across the state. Dr. Kumar warned, “The prosecution will take legal action against individuals involved in anti-social activities. This demolition serves as a stark reminder that such behavior will not be tolerated in our state.”
