A 22-year-old man took his own life by hanging himself following an argument with his mother. The incident took place this morning at around 11:30 AM in the Aralia Gram Panchayat Ward No 3 area under Sonamura Police Station in Sepahijala District of Tripura.
The deceased has been identified as Rakib Ahmed (22). This morning when his mother noticed her son’s hanging body she began screaming in distress. Hearing her cries neighbors quickly arrived to the scene and informed the local police station.
As soon as the Sonamura Police Station staff learned about the incident they immediately rushed to the location. They recovered the body from its hanging position and took it to the Sonamura Community Health Center for post-mortem. After the post-mortem examination, the body will be handed over to the family.
It was learned that Ahmed who couldn’t bear to be away from his mother had recently returned home from Bangalore. Tragically, after an argument with his mother he decided to end his life by hanging himself.
