Father Rapes His 9-Year-Old Daughter in Tripura
Tripura has once again been shaken by a horrifying incident of child rape. A nine-year-old girl has been repeatedly sexually assaulted by her own father at the Camper Bazar, SD Mission area under the AD Nagar Police Station in West Tripura District.
According to the victim’s mother the accused father took advantage of his family’s absence and subjected his nine-year-old daughter to repeated sexual assaults. He even threatened her life to ensure her silence. It has been revealed that the father committed this heinous act again on July 24.
As she failed to bear the trauma the young girl finally confided in her mother. Upon learning of her husband’s despicable act from her daughter she informed the local residents. Sensing the seriousness of the situation the accused father fled from the house.
Meanwhile, the victim’s mother along with local residents filed a written complaint against the accused father at West Agartala Women’s Police Station at around 10 AM this morning alleging molestation and rape. The police have assured them that they will take appropriate legal action based on the investigation.
Both the victim and her mother have demanded the death penalty for the accused. They hope that this incident will serve as a deterrent and prevent similar heinous acts from happening in the future.
