Tripura: Akhand Rashtriya Hindu Sena Protests Against Persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh


A delegation from the Akhand Rashtriya Hindu Sena (AHS) led by Tripura state president and Northeast India’s Prabhari Hindu Samrat Avinash Krishna Das submitted a memorandum to the North Tripura District Magistrate and Collector Debapriya Bardhan on Friday, condemning the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh and the destruction of Hindu temples.
“We stand in solidarity with our Hindu brothers and sisters in Bangladesh who are facing persecution and forced conversion,” said Abinash Krishna Das.
“We demand that the Indian government take necessary steps to protect their interests and ensure their safety and security.” he added.
The delegation also included co-secretary of North Tripura Amulya Nath, secretary of the Jubarajnagar Assembly Constituency Samarjit Debnath, president of the Charupasa Deocherra branch Dipankar Das, president of the Krishnapur branch Pappu Datta, secretary of the Hurua Shriram branch Prabhat Roy among other leaders of the organization.
“The situation in Bangladesh is alarming, with Hindus facing attacks and their temples being destroyed, we urge the Bangladesh government to take action against those responsible and ensure the safety of Hindus.” said Amulya Nath.
The Akhand Rashtriya Hindu Sena (AHS) also organized a rally in North Tripura District sadar Dharmanagar to protest against the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh. The rally was attended by hundreds of people who raised slogans against the persecution of Hindus and demanded action from the Indian and Bangladesh governments.
“We will not remain silent in the face of such atrocities, we will continue to raise our voice until the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh stops.” said Avinash Krishna Das.
