BSF Intercepts Five Bangladeshi Nationals In Tripura Border

The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully apprehended five Bangladeshi nationals attempting to illegally enter India through the Belonia border area in Tripura’s south district. The operation took place at 10:30 PM on July 18 night.
The group consisting of three women one man and a boy was caught with Indian identity documents including Aadhaar and PAN cards. They have been identified as Nazima Begum (40) Salma Begum (50) Nazima Begum (28) Yasim Sheikh (11) and Md Akhter (34). All are residents of Bangladesh’s Madaripur and Barisal districts.
According to BSF sources the individuals were en route to various locations in Delhi. They are currently under interrogation to gather more information about their plans and potential connections to human trafficking networks.
A BSF spokesperson stated “We have intensified our surveillance efforts to combat the rising number of infiltration attempts. Our focus is on dismantling the networks that facilitate illegal migration by providing fake documents and logistical support.”
